Ables Wedding

On July 18th Muddy Creek performed in Apple Creek, OH for Adam and Jenna Miller's wedding reception. Muddy Creek enjoyed getting back to their roots as they performed in a recently restored barn. The setting was romantic and rustic, and Muddy Creek felt right at home. Muddy Creek played a healthy mix of Live Band and DJ Songs, and by the end of the night everyone's dancing shoes were wore out! Pairing the Live Music with the perfect reception setting, it is no surprise that a great time was had by all.

July 11th - Sheldon and Brit Steiner's Wedding

Less than a month after performing in Lisbon, Muddy Creek made the hour long trek back to the picturesque town to play at Sheldon and Brit Steiner's wedding reception. Despite poor weather in the early afternoon, it was a beautiful evening for a wedding reception. The reception was at a local golf course, providing the ideal setting for a wedding celebration! As always, a great time was had by all.

MCO

It is not everyday that Muddy Creek plays an MCO (Muddy Creek Original), but we want to post a video of the Martin Wedding with an MCO playing in the background. The song is called "She Said Stop," and it is one of the first songs Muddy Creek ever wrote.

Muddy Creek Goes to Lisbon!

Here is some video of a wedding reception we played in Lisbon, Ohio. We decided to give Marcus and Timmy a break, and Matt, Michael, and Luke serenaded the crowd with easy listening. At this show we played various artists ranging from Edwin McCain to Lynard Skynard.

Muddy Creek Shows

When Muddy Creek performs, we do our best to ensure crowd involvement. In the past we have invited guest musicians to perform with us. In some cases, we invite people up to the stage to play the harmonica, tambourine, or, as pictured, the cowbell. We go to all lengths to create a fun, relaxed environment for your wedding or special event!

Kevin & Susan Shaffer's Wedding

On Saturday January 3rd, Kevin Shaffer and Susan Troyer were joined in Holy Matrimony. Following the service at Fairlawn Mennonite Church a reception was held in the gymnasium. Old Carolina Barbeque provided the food, and Muddy Creek provided the entertainment.

Muddy Creek played a total of 8 songs hand picked by the Bride. Muddy Creek played Motown hits, Dispatch, Ben Harper, Old Crow Medicine Show, and Lynard Skynard. Muddy Creek also acted as the Master of Ceremonies, and the boys of Muddy Creek provided full DJ services as well. Needless to say, the wedding reception was an appropriate mixture of live music and DJ music. The reception began at 6 and did not wind down until 10. It was truly a joyous celebration, and a good time was had by all.

Live Wedding Entertainment at It's Finest

If you are planning a wedding, Live Wedding Entertainment does not have to be expensive. Usually live bands cost more than a regular DJ Service, but there are bands out there that will play songs of your choosing for less than a full DJ Service. Muddy Creek is a Live Wedding band that will do just that.

Since taking office, President Obama has called for each and every American to do their part in creating a better America. Muddy Creek is doing it's best to answer the call. We believe that the wedding entertainment business is on a destructive path of irresponsible greed. Many wedding bands periodically increase their rates in order to squeeze more and more money from the Bride and Groom. Music is a gift, and to excessively charge for the gift of music is wrong!

Muddy Creek has created the idea of Universal Music. A lot like Universal Healthcare, Universal Music means that regardless of your budget, you are always entitled to the upmost quality of music. A wedding is a joyous time of celebration. It is NOT a time for profiteering. Having said that, do not be afraid of our low prices. As a rule, Muddy Creek's prices only cover our expenses, and Muddy Creek will never lower our live performance standards to match our low prices!
