Muddy Creek Gives Back to Wayne County!
Muddy Creek is pleased to announce that three of it's five members have volunteered to sit on the Habitat for Humanity Wayne County Young Professionals Committee.
Michael Rogers, guitarist, is the chairmen of the committee, and Matt Hignight and Luke Martin join him in supporting roles. Muddy Creek has been searching for ways to give back to the community, Habitat for Humanity is a step in the right directions. The men of Muddy Creek will be volunteering their time for fundraisers, construction, and live music.
Matt Hignight had this to say about the volunteer opportunity, "Every member of Muddy Creek grew up in Wayne County, and this opportunity with Habitat for Humanity of Wayne County is a perfect fit for us.
It gives us the opportunity to volunteer for a great cause and share our music at the same time! Plans are being formed for benefit concerts, can collection campaigns, and other fundraising programs. Muddy Creek is excited to be involved with Habitat for Humanity."
In addition to playing shows, Muddy Creek is committed to volunteering a lot of time this year to ensure that families in Wayne County have sufficient homes.
